Ring My Bell - Oreana, IL
Ring My Bell is a town-based running event held in Oreana, Illinois at 407 S View Street. It offers two distances:
- 4.5 miles run
- 2 miles walk/run
Both courses are described as flat and take place in town. The 4.5-mile route goes out and back on a country road and includes a water stop that participants pass twice.
Registration opens in March. Early bird pricing runs March 9 to May 31 at $35. A price increase applies June 1 to July 3, when the fee is $40. Check-in and same-day registration are available the morning of the event from 6:00am to 7:15am; exact cash is requested for same-day payment. Shirts are available for pickup during the same pre-race window. To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be completed before June 15. Any unclaimed shirts by July 10 will be forfeited.
Post-race food and beverages are provided. The listed menu includes spaghetti with marinara and meat sauce, rolls, salad, and cookies. Age-group awards are offered for male and female divisions in the following ranges: 10 & Under, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over.
