Rigg Race Balerno

The Rigg Race is an annual running event organized by Harmeny AC, typically held on the Monday evening of Balerno Children’s Gala week in late May. The race features a scenic 6-mile course starting in Malleny Park, leading participants through the village of Balerno and along Rigg Road, before returning to the Rugby Club grounds. Runners receive medals upon finishing, with additional prizes for various categories.
