Richmond Aquathlon
The Richmond Aquathlon is a swim and run event organized by Even Splits and supported by Richmond Triathlon Club. The 2026 edition has been relocated from Richmond Swimming Pool to Northallerton Leisure Centre in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
The event features a pool-based swim followed by a flat run, mostly on grass, around the fields next to the leisure centre. It is open to participants aged 8 and upwards. Entry is limited to 200 participants and entries must be completed online; no entries will be available on the event day. A valid British Triathlon membership or a purchased race pass is required to participate.
Distances vary by age group, with ages determined as of 31 December 2025:
- Tristart (age 8): swim 50m, run 650m.
- Tristar 1 (ages 9-10): swim 150m, run 1300m.
- Tristar 2 (ages 11-12): swim 250m, run 2000m.
- Tristar 3 (ages 13-14): swim 400m, run 3000m.
- Youth & Adult (age 15+): swim 500m, run 4400m.
All junior finishers from Tristart to Tristar 3 receive a goody bag or memento. Prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place in all Tristar groups. Event facilities include water stations, toilets, changing facilities, and showers. There is no baggage store. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
