Rhythm Race 5K & Neon Run
The Rhythm Race 5K & Neon Run is an evening athletic event held in Marysville, Ohio. Participants can choose between running, walking, or marching through the local parks. This community event is organized to support students in the Marysville Marching Band programs, ranging from elementary through high school levels. During the race, the marching band provides musical accompaniment for the participants.
The event features two primary distances:
- 5 km Neon Run
- Kids Rush (for children aged 6 and under)
The course takes runners through various park areas in the evening setting. Packet pickup is available both the day before the race at the Marysville High School band room and on the evening of the race at the Marysville Track, located next to Impact Stadium.
Recognition and awards are provided across several categories. Participation medals are awarded to the first 200 finishers of the 5 km event. Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers, as well as first place finishers in several age groups ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over. Children participating in the Kids Rush receive rhythm rattles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
