Warm Up Columbus
Warm Up Columbus is a winter running event held in Dublin, Ohio, featuring a variety of distances held on a flat, fast course. The race utilizes a unique 1 mile loop, providing a spectator-friendly environment and frequent support opportunities. The marathon course is USATF Certified and serves as an eligible Boston Marathon qualifier.
Participants can choose from several individual and team events:
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k
- 5k
- Marathon Relay (team of 2 to 5 members)
- Half Marathon Relay (team of 2 to 5 members)
- Kids 1/4 Mile Race (complimentary entry)
The loop format ensures that runners pass a fluid and support station every mile, featuring water and electrolyte drinks. Restrooms are also available at every mile point. For the marathon, the race begins with a 0.2-mile segment followed by 26 full laps to complete the certified distance. A pace team is provided by Fleet Feet, offering groups for various target times and a walking group.
Athletes receive finishers' medals and event-specific swag. For the marathon distance, there is a finishing time limit of 1:00 PM. Registered participants for the children's 1/4 mile race receive a teddy bear at the finish line. Post-race refreshments and music on the course are provided for all attendees.
