Rhythm of the Heart 5K Race & Walk
The Rhythm of the Heart 5K Race & Walk is a community race held in Loves Park, Illinois on July 25, 2026. It is presented as part of the City of Loves Park’s 4th annual Rhythm of the Heart Music Festival and is open to both runners and walkers of all ages.
The course travels through some of the city’s original neighborhoods, passes the Field of Honor and other noted areas, and includes views of several Loves Park murals and the Rock River. The route is intended to highlight local landmarks and community spaces within the city.
All registration fees for the event will directly support Christmas for Kids, a local nonprofit that benefits children in the Harlem School District through its annual Shop with a First Responder, teacher, and other community members event. The organizer lists a registration fee of $35.00. Registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026.
