Rhythm of the Heart 5K Race & Walk
The Rhythm of the Heart 5K Run & Walk is a new event that starts the City of Loves Park’s 4th annual Rhythm of the Heart Music Festival. The festival includes food vendors, artisan markets, and live music.
The course winds through some of Loves Park’s original neighborhoods, the Field of Honor, and along the Rock River Recreation Path, offering views of the river.
Race awards are given to the Top 3 overall male and female finishers and the Top 3 finishers in each of nine standard age groups. All participants receive a finisher's medal.
Parking is available around City Hall, Sand Park Pool, and GE Aviation. Race packets can be picked up at Loves Park City Hall on the Wednesday and Friday before the race, or on race day starting one hour before the race begins. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
