RAMP River Run : 3K, 5K, and 1/2 Marathon Run
The RAMP River Run takes place in Rockford, Illinois on August 15, 2026. The event is hosted by RAMP Disability Resources & Services and is presented as a fundraising race; all proceeds go to RAMP. The event is part of the 2026 RRR Circuit and is held on a USATF certified course.
The event program includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon Run
- 5K Run
- 3K Walk / Wheel-A-Thon
Registration by July 20 guarantees an event t-shirt; participants who raise $50 for RAMP by July 20 are also eligible for a t-shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled the Thursday before the race at RAMP, 202 Market Street, Rockford, with additional pickup available on race morning at the City Market Pavilion. Because this is a fundraising event, refunds are not offered; in inclement weather entry fees are considered donations.
All participants receive finisher medals. The 5K and Half Marathon include age-group medals for first through third place and a $100 prize for the overall first place male and female in each of those races. Baby joggers and strollers are permitted on the 3K and 5K courses but are not allowed on the Half Marathon course. Only service animals are allowed on the courses.
