RAMP River Run – 3K, 5K, & 1/2 Marathon Run
The RAMP River Run is a community road event held in downtown Rockford at City Market Pavilion, 202 Market Street, Rockford, IL, on August 15, 2026. The event is organized by RAMP and benefits that organization; all proceeds support RAMP’s services and advocacy for people with disabilities.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon : 13.1 Miles
- 5K Run : 5K out-and-back along the Rock River
- 3K Walk/Wheel : 3K family-friendly course
Course notes and participant rules: the Half Marathon begins at the corner of Market and Water Streets, follows a bike path north, crosses the river at Riverside Boulevard, and continues on the west side of the river out to Sportscore for a turnaround. The 5K follows the Rock River on an out-and-back route with a halfway turnaround. Baby joggers and strollers are permitted on the 3K and 5K courses but are not allowed on the Half Marathon. Only service dogs are permitted on any course.
Additional event information: the race is USATF certified (IL 17063NM) and is part of the 2026 RRR Circuit. This is a fundraising event and refunds are not offered for any reason. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
