Course, format and facilities

The main route is an out-and-back course of 3.28 miles along the River Thames. A 5k option is available via an earlier turn point, and a 10k is completed by running the 5k lap twice. The event is a six-hour challenge, allowing participants to cover distances from 5k up to ultra distances within the time limit; the final lap must be started within six hours of the race start.

Toilets and changing facilities are available at the rowing club. An unmanned baggage area near the start and finish is available; items are left at the participant’s own risk. There is on-site parking at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds; parking requires payment. An aid table at the end of each lap provides water, squash, fizzy drinks and various food items.
