Rev3 Mighty Matapeake
The Rev3 Mighty Matapeake is a multisport festival held in Stevensville, Maryland, within Queen Anne's County. Located on the Eastern Shore just past the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the event takes place at Matapeake Beach and utilize local parks and trails.
The festival features several event formats to choose from:
- SprintREV Triathlon
- SprintREV Duathlon
- SprintREV Aquabike
- SprintREV Relay (2 or 3 members)
The triathlon course consists of a 0.5 mile swim in the Chesapeake Bay. This is followed by a 12 mile out-and-back bike segment along the flat Route 8 (Romancoke Road) corridor. The final leg is a 3.1 mile out-and-back run on the South Island Trail, which offers views of the surrounding natural area.
Participants have access to the RaceJoy mobile application, which provides GPS progress alerts and live tracking for spectators.
