Resurrection Run - Gretna, NE
Resurrection Run is a community running event held in Gretna at Resurrection Lutheran Church and nearby streets. The event includes multiple distances and a kids race, with courses laid out so that 3- and 5-mile participants follow the same route beginning at the church. The 3-mile course finishes back at the church at the completion of the south loop. The 1.25-mile fun walk follows part of the 3/5-mile course. A one-mile kids run is offered for ages 12 and under.
Registration is available in advance; registrations received after July 10 are not guaranteed a shirt. Entry fees increase in mid-July. No race day entries are accepted.
Packet pickup takes place at Resurrection Lutheran Church the evening before the event and on the morning of the event. Breakfast is provided for participants after the race.
Awards are presented for the 3- and 5-mile races: first and second place in male and female age divisions (18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). The kids one-mile race awards first, second, and third place for boys and girls 12 and under.
