Resurrection Run : Gretna, NE
The Resurrection Run takes place on July 25, 2026 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 153 South McKenna Avenue, Gretna, NE 68028. The event includes several distances and a community breakfast following the races for all participants.
Available distances:
- 1.25 mile fun walk
- 3 mile race
- 5 mile race
- Kids 1 mile for ages 12 and under
The 3 and 5 mile races follow the same route and begin at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Three mile runners complete the south loop and finish at the church. The 1.25 mile fun walk uses part of the 3/5 mile course. Course maps are provided by the organizer.
Packet pickup is held at Resurrection Lutheran Church on July 24 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on July 25 in the morning. Registrations received after July 10 at 11:59 p.m. are not guaranteed a shirt. No race day entries are permitted.
Awards are given in the 3 and 5 mile races for first and second place in male and female age groups 18 and under, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. The kids 1 mile has first through third place awards for boys and girls 12 and under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
