Reservoir Color Run

The Reservoir Color Run is a community-oriented event held at the Chesterfield Career & Technical Center in Midlothian, Virginia. Organized as a collaboration between Clover Hill Elementary, Swift Creek Elementary, and Woolridge Elementary, the event serves as a fundraiser to support local schools. Proceeds contribute to school enrichment initiatives, including new technology, health and wellness programs, and engineering programs for students.

Participants run along a track where they pass through various color stations. The powder used at these stations consists of food-grade cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C and D&C dyes. Registration options are available for different age groups and families:

  • 1 Mile Run (Student Registration, ages 4-11)
  • 1 Mile Run (Standard Registration, ages 12+)
  • 1 Mile Run (Family 4-Pack for 2 adults and 2 students)

Participants who register by April 6, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt and a medal. For those registering after this date, t-shirts are not provided and medals are subject to availability. Registration is limited for this event.

The venue is located at 13900 Hull Street Road. In accordance with local county regulations, animals are not permitted on the track and field, with the exception of service animals. Packet pickup is scheduled at the track entrance near the pickleball courts on the Friday preceding the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
