Rescue1Century Walk/Run/Ride 2027
Rescue1Century is a combined walk, run, and series of bike rides held in Social Circle, Georgia, based at the Walton County Community Center. The event uses quiet country back roads and pastoral rolling hills of Walton and Morgan County and includes a run through downtown Social Circle.
Event distances include:
- 5 km walk/run through downtown Social Circle
- 20 miles bike ride through Walton and Morgan County
- 35 miles bike ride on marked country roads
- 47 miles bike ride covering extended rural routes
- 66 miles bike ride for longer-distance cyclists
Facilities at the venue include ample parking and indoor restrooms. Route support features marked routes, SAG support, rest stops, and on-route nutrition and hydration. A post-ride meal is provided. Teams may bring tents and lawn chairs for post-ride fellowship.
Registration opens 2026-08-15 and online registration is available through 2027-03-27. T-shirts and medals are guaranteed only to participants who pre-register by 2027-02-27. The organizer posts a stepped fee schedule: initial fees listed on 2026-08-15 are Walk/Run $30 and Ride $50, with planned increases on 2026-10-01, 2027-01-01, and 2027-03-01.
