Relentless Run and Ruck Challenge
The Relentless Run and Ruck Challenge is a trail endurance event at Camp Greenough in Yarmouth, MA. The course is an approximately 5 km loop combining access roads and single track on a fully closed course.
Event options include:
- 5K single loop
- 10K two loops
- 6 hour endurance challenge, complete as many loops as possible in six hours
A shared central hub called Relentless Basecamp sits at the start and finish. Participants doing multiple loops may use Basecamp to store gear, snacks, chairs, and coolers. One fully stocked aid station at Basecamp provides water, electrolytes, and snacks; participants should plan any loop-specific fuel accordingly.
Divisions are Run (no weight) and Ruck. Ruck weight standards are fixed and measured as dry weight: Men 30 lb, Women 20 lb. Required weight must be non-consumable and non-wearable, carried on the back in a traditional ruck or backpack. Plate carriers, sling bags, and duffel bags are not allowed. Rucks may be removed during a loop, but participants may not make forward progress without the ruck on their back. Trekking poles are not allowed.
Results for 5K and 10K are ranked by finish time. The 6 hour challenge is ranked by total complete loops, with the fastest final completed loop as a tiebreaker. The event benefits Heroes In Transition and is sanctioned and insured by USA Track and Field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
