Relentless Run & Ruck Challenge
The Relentless Run & Ruck Challenge is a trail endurance event at Camp Greenough in Yarmouth, MA on October 24, 2026. The event welcomes runners, ruck athletes, hikers, and walkers. Participants may choose to run or walk without weight, or ruck with a required load.
The course is an approximately 5k loop combining access roads and single track on a fully closed course. The looped format uses a central hub called Relentless Basecamp at the start and finish where multi-loop participants can set up chairs, snacks, and gear. One fully stocked aid station at Basecamp provides water, electrolytes, and snacks.
Event options:
- 5K One loop on the approximately 5k trail course.
- 10K Two loops, approximately 5k each.
- Relentless 6 Hour Endurance Challenge Complete as many 5k loops as possible within six hours.
Divisions and ruck rules are defined at registration. The Run division is no weight. Ruck division required weights are dry weight: Men 30 lb, Women 20 lb. Mandatory pre-start ruck weigh-in is enforced. Required weight must be non-consumable and non-wearable and carried in a traditional ruck or backpack. Plate carriers, sling bags, and duffel bags are not allowed. Participants may remove a ruck but may not make forward progress without it. Trekking poles are not allowed.
Results: 5K and 10K are ranked by fastest finish time. The 6 hour challenge is ranked by total distance completed; only complete loops count. Ties are broken by the fastest final completed loop.
Heroes In Transition is the official charitable beneficiary and Alquist 3d will donate twenty dollars from each paid registration to that beneficiary. The event is sanctioned and insured by USA Track & Field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
