Reid-y To Swim 5K & Motorcycle Ride, Thomaston, GA
The Reid-y To Swim 5K and Motorcycle Ride is a community event held on April 11, 2026 at Greatest Generation Memorial Park in Thomaston, GA (213 Park Drive). The event was organized in memory of a family’s toddler who died in May 2024 and combines a timed 5K with a motorcycle ride and a community fun day.
The run route starts at the park playground, follows a paved trail out and back, and is mostly shaded. The day includes park amenities such as a playground and a splash pad for children. Proceeds from the event will be donated to support local children who need swim lessons and other water safety resources.
Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age division. Age divisions are 15 and younger; 16–20; 21–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; and 60 and above.
