Regatta Run 5K
The Regatta Run is an annual community 5K run/walk in Tualatin, Oregon held in conjunction with the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta on the third Sunday in October. The event takes place at Tualatin Community Park, 8515 SW Tualatin Road, and follows a course that moves through scenic trails, crosses a footbridge, and passes through Durham Park and Cook Park.
The course is described as flat and accessible for runners, walkers, stroller riders, and four-legged companions. The event includes family-oriented activities such as a themed costume opportunity and post-race trick-or-treating for youth. A new quarter mile kids dash for ages 4 to 12 has been added to the schedule.
Organized by the Tualatin Rotary Regatta Run Team, all net proceeds support Tualatin Rotary’s first-generation college scholarships at Tualatin High School and programs for school-aged children in the local community. The event was founded in memory of a local service member who died while serving overseas.
An official course map and additional event information are provided by the organizers. The event is positioned as part of the local harvest season activities and community fundraising efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
