Regatta Run 5K
The Regatta 5K Run/Walk is an annual community fundraiser in Tualatin, Oregon, organized by the Tualatin Rotary Regatta Run Team and held in conjunction with the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta on the third Sunday in October.
Distances
- 5K Run/Walk
- Quarter mile kids dash (ages 4-12)
The course begins at Tualatin Community Park on 8515 SW Tualatin Road and follows scenic trails, crosses a footbridge, and continues through Durham Park and Cook Park before returning to the park. The route is described as flat and is intended to accommodate runners, walkers, stroller users, and leashed dogs.
The event includes a youth trick-or-treating activity after the race and allows participants to wear costumes. Net proceeds support Tualatin Rotary’s first-generation college scholarships at Tualatin High School and programs for school-aged children in the local community. The event was founded in memory of a 2005 Tualatin High School graduate who died while serving in Afghanistan. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
