Reflection Run - Washougal, WA
Reflection Run is an annual community running event held on May 17, 2026 in Washougal, Washington. The event honors men and women who have served in the Armed Forces and remembers those who died in service. Routes follow the Columbia River and offer views of Mt. Hood and the Gorge; the course is lined with local Hero Posters and supports Northwest Battle Buddies and other military organizations and non-profits.
Race options include:
- Half Marathon
- 12 Mile Ruck Challenge (35 lb pack or 40 lb vest minimum)
- 10K
- 5K
The 12 Mile Ruck Challenge requires participants to carry a minimum pack or vest weight and to weigh in at check-in and at the finish. Veterans and active military may participate without a registration fee. After the event there will be food and drink and opportunities to meet Veterans and those currently serving.
Logistics noted by the organizer include packet pickup the day before at a local running store in Vancouver and on race morning at the Bi-Mart parking lot at 3003 Addy St., Washougal. A bag-check is available at the start/finish. Porta-potties will be at the start/finish and additional bathrooms are located at Captain Williams Park about one mile along the trail; half marathoners pass this area multiple times, 10K and 5K participants pass it twice.
