About the race
Reepham Runners host an annual winter cross-country race in Reepham at Whitwell Station NR10 4GA on 31 January 2027. Juniors aged 11 and over and adults are eligible to compete on a traditional cross-country course featuring muddy tracks, dykes and ditches, rivers to splash through, open meadows, and varied twists and turns.
Distances:
- approximately 5 km (1 lap)
- approximately 10 km (2 laps)
The event includes an external toilet block at Whitwell Station; runners are asked to change muddy shoes before entering the facilities. Parking is available at Whitwell Station with marshals directing vehicles. There are no water stations on the course; water is available as runners pass back through Whitwell Station after completing the first lap.
Organisers are using compostable cups and will not issue race medals this year, with support focused instead on local charities related to nature and the environment. Medical cover is provided at Race HQ and around the course by Rescue Medical Solutions. Cash prizes are offered for top finishers in the senior categories and for first-place junior male and female. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are available until 23/01/2027 at midnight. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
