Reef Super Sprint Triathlon
The Reef Super Sprint Triathlon is aimed at encouraging beginners to try a first triathlon and gives experienced triathletes an opportunity to test their fitness. The event is held at the Reef Leisure Centre in Sheringham on the north Norfolk coast. The centre includes a six‑lane 25 m pool, a learning pool, gym and studios, and overlooks a golf course and the sea.
The race format comprises pool swim, one lap of road cycling and one lap of road running. Distances are:
- 300 m pool swim with 30 second interval starts
- 17 km one‑lap bike on undulating rural tarmac
- 3 km one‑lap run mostly flat on quiet residential tarmac
All finishers receive a medal. Trophies are awarded for all age category winners and for first, second and third placed Open and Female. Minimum competitor age is 16 on 31 December 2026 and age categories are based on age on that date. Entry is by online registration and race information is sent by email approximately two weeks before the event.
Refunds, less a £5 admin charge, are offered up to midnight on Friday 11 October three weeks before the race; no refunds are offered after that. Transfers to other events are not permitted under British Triathlon rules.
Event features include accessible parking, accessible showers and toilets, changing facilities, chip timing, prizes and results on the event website. The event expects about 125 competitors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
