Redhead Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
This is the 12th annual Redhead Run, a community fundraising event benefiting a memorial fund. The program offers two courses that both begin and end at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Florida, Ohio (K980 County Road 17D; GPS may show a Napoleon address).
Participants may choose between two distances:
- 5K - course on nearby country roads
- 1 mile - route through the village of Florida
All participants register through the same process; paper registration forms are also available. The 5K is a timed race with medals awarded to eligible finishers. All participants in either distance are entered in drawings for gift certificates from event donors.
The registration fee is $25 per participant before August 22 and $30 after that date. Children 12 and under may participate free with a paying parent or guardian but must register and sign a waiver. Registrations are accepted until the start of the event. Participants who register before September 7 receive a Redhead Run t-shirt with their registration.
