Dave's 10-Miler and Yeti 10K
Dave's 10-Miler is a historic running event in Delta, Ohio, that has taken place annually since 1974. The race is held regardless of weather conditions and follows a route through the local countryside. Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 10 Miles
- 10k
The course consists of a loop on the county roads of Delta. The event begins and finishes at Pike Delta York Middle School. For the 10k distance, there is an alternate start line located near the bus garage.
A specific early start option is available for the 10 Miles distance for participants who require more than the standard two-hour course limit. This early start has limited course support and is timed, though participants in this category are not eligible for overall or age group awards.
The facility at Pike Delta York Middle School provides indoor amenities after the race, including showers and a hot lunch. The event serves as a training run for spring marathons. Proceeds from the race entry fees benefit the North Western Ohio Rails-to-Trails Association (NORTA), a nonprofit organization that manages sections of the Wabash Cannonball Trail.
