Red Wolf Rampage
Red Wolf Rampage is a trail run and walk held at the Red Wolf Sanctuary in Rising Sun, Indiana, on the sanctuary's 452-acre property. The event includes timed competition while recreational runners and walkers are also welcome. All proceeds support the sanctuary's work in environmental education and in rehabilitating injured and orphaned North American wildlife.
The shorter course follows waterways, wetlands and fields and finishes by passing large wildlife enclosures. The longer course covers additional trail distance and includes an ascent of over 240 feet in under a mile. Course routing may be changed if flooding occurs.
Practical event information: parking is not available at the sanctuary. A shuttle and parking lot are provided; the shuttle pickup is next to Union Cemetery on the corner of 1st and Downey Street in Rising Sun, and shuttles run every 10 to 15 minutes. Online registration closes on October 20, 2026; in-person registration is available on race day if participants arrive by 8:30 AM. Race shirts and bags are guaranteed only to participants who register by October 10, 2026. Packet pick-up is available the day of the event.
