Event Overview
The Red Tutu Trot 2026 is a hybrid 5k run/walk event. It takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin. All proceeds from the race are dedicated to funding free CPR/AED certification classes in the Madison community, placing AEDs in UW-Madison campus buildings, and hosting free ECG screening drives.
Additional Details
Participants have the option to purchase an official event t-shirt as a fundraising item. Pre-orders for the shirt are available until September 1st, with a limited quantity also sold for $25 at the registration table. Cardiac on Campus was founded in 2016 to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest among young people. Since its founding, the organization reports having placed 11 AEDs, performed over 973 ECG screenings, and certified over 2,100 people in CPR.
