Red Tutu Trot 2026
The Red Tutu Trot is a hybrid run and walk organized by Cardiac on Campus that takes place on October 11, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin, with a virtual option for remote participation. The main distance offered for all categories is 5K.
The event includes separate student and public categories and both in-person and virtual participation options. In-person activities are based at 801 Walnut Street, Lot 60, Madison, WI 53726. Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes October 12, 2026. Registration fees are listed as $10 for student entries and $15 for public entries.
Proceeds support community cardiac health initiatives: free CPR and AED certification classes in the Madison community, placement of AEDs in UW-Madison campus buildings, and free ECG screening drives. Cardiac on Campus reports having placed 11 AEDs, performed over 973 ECG screenings with 37 abnormal rhythms detected, and certified more than 2,100 people in CPR since its founding in 2016.
An official Red Tutu Trot 2026 T-shirt is available as a fundraising item. Participants could pre-order the shirt until September 1, and a limited quantity was offered for $25 at the registration table. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
