Red Shoes Run : Savannah, GA
The Red Shoes Run takes place April 3 to April 5, 2026, at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire, 4710 Waters Avenue, on the campus of Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah. The event program includes an on-site 5K run/walk/stroll, a kids 1/4 mile fun run, a virtual 5K, and a Sleep In for Families and Children option for participants who do not take part in the runs.
Packet pick-up occurs the day before the on-site events at the Ronald McDonald House. On race day there is final packet pick-up and walk-up registration, followed by the kids fun run, the 5K event, and awards presented immediately after the 5K.
Registration options include in-person participation, a virtual 5K for remote supporters, and a Sleep In option. The event policy states there are no refunds; if a registrant cannot participate or weather prevents the event, the registration will be treated as a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire is the event beneficiary. The organization provides a home away from home for families of critically ill and injured children seeking treatment at local hospitals. In 2025 the House provided over 4,500 family night stays and the event reports that 100 percent of proceeds remain in the local community.
