Red Hot Toddy 10K Road Race
The Red Hot Toddy 10K Road Race is provisionally scheduled for Sunday 14 March 2027, with entries opening in Autumn 2026. The event is organised around Centre Vale Park in Todmorden, with the race headquarters at Todmorden Cricket Club, Centre Vale, OL14 7BS.
The certified 10 km course begins and finishes in Centre Vale Park. It comprises two flat laps of the park road followed by a single hilly lap of rural and town centre roads. The route climbs to Sourhall and reaches its high point just before halfway on Todmorden Edge, then descends down Bacup Road and returns through Todmorden town centre. Total climbing on the course is 219 m.
Facilities at the cricket club include limited parking, changing facilities, toilets, food and a bar; registration and prize giving take place in the main function room. When on-site parking is full, drivers will be directed to alternative spaces. Food is available for purchase, including vegetarian and vegan options. Water is provided on the course and at the finish; participants are asked to bring their own cup if possible. Kits may be left at the venue at the owner’s risk.
