Red-Hot Toddy 10K Road Race
The Red-Hot Toddy is a 10 km road race held on Sunday 8 March 2026. The minimum age for entry is 16. Entry fees are shown as a range of £10-16 with an additional £2 for entry on the day; the online entry system lists specific fees by membership category. Online entry opens in October 2025 and closes in early March 2026. Registration, prize giving and event administration take place at Todmorden Cricket Club.
Course and venue
The race starts and finishes in Centre Vale Park, Todmorden. The accurately measured course consists of two flat laps of the park road followed by a single hilly lap of rural and town centre roads. The route climbs to Sourhall and reaches its high point just before halfway on Todmorden Edge, then descends to Bacup Road and returns into town along Rochdale Road before finishing back on the park road. Total climbing on the course is 219 m and the course is certified as accurate.
Race headquarters are at Todmorden Cricket Club, Centre Vale, OL14 7BS. The club provides limited parking, changing facilities, toilets, food and a bar; when club parking is full, drivers are directed to alternative spaces. Water is available on the course and at the finish and runners are asked to bring their own cup if possible. Kit may be left at the venue at the owner’s risk.
