The Red Hot Toddy 10k is scheduled for Sunday 08 March 2026 (International Women’s Day). The race distance is 10 km. Entries open on Sunday 5 October 2025 and close on Monday 2 March 2026. The minimum age is 16. Entry fees listed on the organiser's entry system include, for example, UKA member and non-member rates that vary by gender and category (examples: £14.00 for a male UKA member, £16.00 for a male non-member; female and non-binary rates shown separately). Registration opens at 8.30am. Prize giving is at 12 midday. Food will be available for purchase, including vegetarian and vegan options. Water is provided on the course and at the finish; participants are asked to bring their own cup if possible. A separate fun run (2 km) is associated with the event.
Course and venue
The race starts and finishes in Centre Vale Park, Todmorden, with Race HQ at Todmorden Cricket Club, Centre Vale, OL14 7BS. The course is certified accurate and measured (course number 2015421). The route begins with two flat laps of tarmac park road, then a single hilly lap of rural and town centre roads. It climbs to Sourhall and reaches its high point just before half way on Todmorden Edge, followed by a long descent to Bacup Road and a return into town along Rochdale Road. Total climbing on the course is 219 m. The cricket club offers limited parking, changing facilities, toilets, food and a bar. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
