Course and facilities

The race starts in Centre Vale Park and uses two flat laps of park tarmac followed by a single hilly lap of rural and town centre roads, finishing back on the park road near the park shelter. The course climbs to Sourhall, reaches its high point just before halfway on Todmorden Edge, then descends to Bacup Road and returns along Rochdale Road through Todmorden town centre. Total climbing is 219 m and the course is certified accurate as a 10 km measurement. Race HQ at Todmorden Cricket Club offers limited parking, changing facilities, toilets, food and a bar; kit can be left at the venue at participants’ own risk. Water is available on course and at the finish; participants are asked to bring their own cup if possible. Vegetarian and vegan food options are available for purchase.
