Event Details
The Red Flannel 5 & 10K event offers three different activities: a 5K run, a 10K run, and a 5K walk. It takes place on a Saturday in September in Cedar Springs, Michigan. The address for the event is 69 W Maple St NE.
Course & Logistics
The course is described as fast and flat. It starts near the White Pine Trail staging area. The event features chip timing and water stations on the course.
Pre-registered participants receive a t-shirt and a medal if their registration is received by September 1 to guarantee these items. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, from 12 & under up to 80-89. There is also a prize for the best red flannel clothing worn.
A children's fun run is available for participants 8 years and younger. It offers different course lengths based on age, and all children receive a medal and a goodie bag.
Registration & Packet Pickup
Packet pick-up and late registration are available on the Friday before the race from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Red Flannel Office on 18 S. Main in Cedar Springs. On race day, packet pick-up and late registration are available from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM at the Amphitheater in the Heart of Cedar Springs Park.
