The Red Dirt Rambler is an endurance trail event organized by Texas Outlaw Running at 1North Adventure Trails in Shreveport, Louisiana. The course uses a 9 mile loop through red dirt woods and offers multiple distance options.

The surface is dirt single-track with about 430 ft of elevation gain per 9 mile loop. The event includes aid stations, course marking, and race photography. Historic average temperatures for the date range from about 46 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a no cup race, so runners must use their own water-carrying system.
Pacing and rucking rules are specified: only one pacer per runner is permitted and only in the final loop of the 60K and the final three loops of the 100K. Ruck weight requirements apply: runners over 150 lbs use a 30 lb ruck and runners under 150 lbs use a 20 lb ruck. Finishers receive event gear and awards that vary by distance, including finisher medals, a 100K finisher buckle, and first place awards for most distances.
