The event takes place on January 1, 2026 at Walker Place Park, 4832 Brookshire Arena Dr., Bossier City, LA 71112. Distances offered include:

Race details
The in-person course runs alongside the river on the Arthur Ray Teague running/walking trail. The start and finish will be chip timed. Water stations will be placed approximately every 1.5 miles. Overall and age-group awards will be presented, including Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Masters M/F, Top Grand Master M/F, Top Senior Master M/F, and top 3 in 5-year age groups from 10 & under through 80+. The event is capped at 400 participants. A finisher medal is provided; virtual participants receive a medal and are eligible for awards. Commemorative shirts are available for purchase for $25.
Registration, packet pickup, and other notes
Registration has tiered pricing (preview, early bird, regular, late, and race day) with Regular registration noted at $26 and later tiers higher. Participants registered by December 22 are guaranteed race swag in their selected size. Early packet pickup is scheduled for December 31 at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Shreveport South - Park Plaza; race morning packet pickup opens one hour before the start. Volunteering can qualify a person for a $50 Visa gift card when specific recruitment and attendance conditions are met. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
