Event overview
The Red Caboose Wine Run 5k takes place on February 22, 2026 at Red Caboose Winery, 1147 CR 1110, Meridian, TX 76665. The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk scored by J3 Timing. Results will be posted online. The official course map and final charity partner details will be posted by the organizer.
Registration, awards and logistics
Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal that also serves as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors may register at a discounted rate; minors do not receive the wine glass or a wine pour. Packet pickup is race day only. A virtual participation option is available; participants can either pick up a packet and run on their own or switch to a virtual entry with a shipping fee for mailed packets.
The event offers age group awards. The top three finishers in each age category will receive custom awards; categories use ten-year brackets and extend up to 80 and over. Competitive runners must begin with the first group or wave to be eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are available for pickup on race day and will not be shipped. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground, and walking is permitted. Free race photos will be available for download.
