Red Bud Musketeer Boosters Stars, Stripes and Strides
This event is a patriotic 5K run/walk held on August 29, 2026, in Red Bud, Illinois at 525 W S 4th Street. The run commemorates America's 250th birthday and supports Red Bud High School student-athletes. The event is offered in conjunction with the Red Bud Am250 Community Festival.
There are two entry categories: Age 13 and over and Age 12 and under. Registration opens in June 2026 for the two categories and closes on August 24, 2026. Entry fees differ by category.
Race-day operations include day of race bib pickup only, a presentation of colors and the singing of the National Anthem before the start, and race instructions and line-up. Medals are awarded to top finishers in each age and gender category. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and costumes are welcome. A patriotic cooling towel is available after crossing the finish line.
