Millstadt Parks Biathlon & 5K
The Millstadt Parks Biathlon & 5K is a community road event in Millstadt, Illinois. The 2026 edition is the 38th annual biathlon and the 5th annual 5K. The event starts and finishes at parks in Millstadt, with registration and packet pickup available before and on race day.
Distances offered:
- 5 mile run followed by a 22 mile bike leg
- 5K out-and-back run
Early packet pickup is available at Millstadt Village Hall on September 10 and September 11, with additional packet pickup and registration on the morning of the event at the park. Race day registration is offered onsite. The course has a scheduled closure and a trail vehicle will pick up participants who remain on course after closure.
Awards are given for biathlon and 5K divisions. Biathlon awards include overall male and female winners, team awards, and awards in male and female age groups (16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up). 5K awards include overall male and female winners and age-group awards (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above).
Post-race food and beer are available. Proceeds benefit the Millstadt Park Fund to support park programs for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
