Millstadt Parks Biathlon & 5K
The Millstadt Parks Biathlon & 5K is an annual community event held in Millstadt, Illinois at 301 North Jefferson Street. The program includes a biathlon that pairs a run and a bike ride plus a separate 5K run. The biathlon is offered as an individual entry or as team entries in male female and coed team categories.
Event elements:
- 5 mile run followed by a 22 mile bike ride
- 5K run
Awards are given for multiple age groups and overall finishers. Biathlon age groups are organized for male and female competitors in ranges beginning at 16 to 29 years and continuing by decade through 70 and up. The 5K has male and female age groups starting at 14 and under and continuing by decade through 70 and above. Team awards include male female and mixed team categories.
Packet pickup is available at Millstadt Village Hall on September 10 and September 11 and there is an additional pickup on the morning of the event at the park. Race day registration is available onsite. The event includes post race food and beer, attendance prize gift certificates to Big Shark Bicycle Company, and free yoga in the park.
