Red Barn Challenge - Lykens, PA
The Red Barn Challenge is a timed endurance event held at Marzella Farm in Lykens, PA on October 2–3, 2026. The event uses a one mile loop around ponds and fields with mostly grass, mulch and stone underfoot. The loop gains about 70 feet of elevation per lap and the race is chip timed.

A large aid station provides typical ultra running food such as potatoes, rice, broth and hydration including Tailwind, plus additional options. An award ceremony is held at the end of the event with awards for the top male and female in each time bracket and other notable participants, and participants receive either a sweatshirt or a blanket. Camping is available on site for the whole weekend and campsites and parking are trackside for easy access.
The event supports local organizations including Wiconisco Fire Company and Our Valley's Area athletics programs. Registration closes on Fri, Sep 11 at 11:59 PM ET.
