Red Barn Challenge : October 2–3, 2026, Lykens, PA
The Red Barn Challenge is a timed running event held at the Marzella Farm in Lykens, Pennsylvania. It is chip timed and organized as multi-hour events running across the October 2–3 weekend.
The course is a one-mile loop with about 70 feet of elevation gain per lap. Terrain is mostly grass with areas of mulch and stone, and the loop passes ponds, fields and trackside camping areas.

- 6-hour timed event
A central aid station offers a wide selection of food and fluids typical for ultrarunning, including potatoes, rice, broth and Tailwind hydration among other options. Camping is available for the whole weekend; campsites and parking are located trackside for convenient access.
An award ceremony is held at the conclusion of the event with additional food and distribution of a sweatshirt or blanket to participants. Awards are given to the top male and female in each time bracket and to other notable participants.
The event supports local organizations including the Wiconisco Fire Company and area athletics programs. Registration closes September 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Refunds are available at 50% through July 1, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
