Red Bank Battlefield 5K
The Red Bank Battlefield 5K takes place in National Park, New Jersey. This event is part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, a collection of six races held at historic locations across the state. The series is organized by RevolutionNJ in coordination with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5K run
- 1 Mile Walk
The race route incorporates the grounds of the Red Bank Battlefield, a location that held historical significance during the Revolutionary War. The concept for the series is inspired by the run of Jonas Cattell, who traveled to this specific battlefield to alert American troops of an approaching British attack.
The event is situated at 100 Hessian Avenue and is managed by TNT Event Management. Other locations featured in the broader race series include Cedar Bridge Tavern, Fort Lee Historic Park, Monmouth Battlefield, Princeton Battlefield, and Batsto Village. Registration for the Red Bank Battlefield events is available online until the day before the race, with additional registration opportunities provided on the morning of the event at the site.
