10th Annual R.E.D. 5K Run/Walk
The 10th Annual R.E.D. 5K Run/Walk is organized by the Wilmington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and is scheduled for June 6, 2026 at the Hare Pavilion on the Wilmington Riverfront, 1 River Place, Wilmington, DE. The event supports education and scholarship programs and cultural enrichment opportunities for students in Wilmington and New Castle County.
The event features a 5K course with a separate competitive walking division that requires participants to walk the entire race. Registration pricing is published and includes an early price of $44.35 and a day-of-event price of $45.00. Registrants receive tee shirts while supplies last and post-race refreshments are provided.
Race policies include a prohibition on dogs due to insurance liability, nontransferable bibs, and no refunds. Strollers are welcome. Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system; overall male and female finishers and masters are scored by gun time, while other age groups are scored by chip net time. Results will be posted online during and after the event, and photos will be made available after the race.
