Rebel Run 5k - Denver, CO
Organized by Conservation Colorado, the Rebel Run 5k takes place on August 23, 2026. The event combines running and fundraising to support Conservation Colorado’s work to defend the state and the people who call it home.
The event is held at Great Lawn Park, 101 Yosemite St, Denver, CO 80230. It includes multiple participation options and formats:
- 5k Run - 3.1 Miles, in-person running race
- 5k Walk - 3.1 Miles, in-person walking event
- 5k Virtual Race - virtual race option
- 1/2 Mile Rebel Dash - short in-person running race
Registration windows and fees vary by event. Registration for the 5k Run and 5k Walk opens on March 20, 2026 and closes on June 1, 2026; the fee for the 5k Run is $45.00 and for the 5k Walk is $20.00. The 5k Virtual Race opens March 20, 2026 and closes August 23, 2026 with a fee of $10.00. Registration for the 1/2 Mile Rebel Dash opens June 4, 2026 and closes August 23, 2026; that dash has no fee.
Last year more than 230 participants took part. A post race celebration at the venue will include food, drinks, sponsor booths and opportunities for community connection. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
