Ready, Set, GLOW! 5K Run and Walk - Honey Brook
This event is a glow in the dark 5K run and walk held on the cart path at Honeybrook Golf Club in Honey Brook, PA. Participants will experience the course at night illuminated with glow necklaces, glow bracelets, glow in the dark T-shirts, and lanterns. Complementary water and healthy snacks will be available during the event.
Registration opens May 13 and closes July 25. Registration fees are $15 if completed by July 25 and $20 thereafter. Registering by July 25 guarantees a glow in the dark race T-shirt; availability is limited after that. Same-day registration is available.
The minimum age to run is 5. Participants under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event. Awards are presented for first, second, and third place in each age group: 5 to 7; 8 to 10; 11 to 13; 14 to 16; 17 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over. Race times are measured by Second Wind Race Timing.
All proceeds benefit the Honey Brook Food Pantry, a local nonprofit serving neighbors in need. All participants must sign a liability waiver or have a legal guardian sign on their behalf; the event is rain or shine and registration fees are nonrefundable.
