Reach Out and Run 5K
The Reach Out and Run 5K is the sixth annual community run organized by Medway Community Church in Medway, Massachusetts. It takes place on August 29, 2026 at 196 Main Street and includes a USATF certified 5K course plus a separate kids run held after the 5K.

- Kids run for younger participants
Registration opens April 29, 2026 and closes August 29, 2026. Adult registration is $30 and children 12 and under are $10. Participants who register by August 7 are guaranteed a event shirt to pick up with their race bib on race day. The event notes that 100 percent of registration fees will go to local charities, with 33 percent of proceeds donated to the Medway House Family Shelter and the remaining 67 percent split equally between the Franklin Food Pantry and the Medway Village Food Pantry.
Medals are awarded to the top male and female finishers and to top finishers in each age group. The event also includes a walk option, opportunities to cheer along the course, and children’s activities such as crafts and games. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
