Event Overview

The REACH for Uganda Global Strides 5K is a charity running event supporting educational and community programs in rural eastern Uganda. The main event is a 5 km (3.1 mile) run.

Race Details

The course is a USTAF certified, out-and-back route. It takes place on Arlington County parkland, specifically the W&OD and Four Mile Run trails. The terrain is described as mostly flat. The start area is near the south parking area in Bluemont Park in Arlington, Virginia.

In addition to the 5K, a shorter children's race is held for participants aged 10 and under. Chip timing is provided for the 5K event participants.
