Event Details
The event takes place at Kooralbyn Valley MTB Park on April 18th and 19th, 2026. There are separate activities for Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday Events
A compulsory briefing for the King of the Mountain event will be held. This is a timed event racing up and down the park's downhill trail. The fastest male and female participants win. A compulsory briefing for the Twilight Team Relay will also be held. This is a team event for up to four people, completing four laps of a 4 km course. Adult and junior categories are available.
Sunday Events
A compulsory briefing will be held. The 9 km course run will start. A free 2 km kids run will also be held.
Course and Aid
A course map for each race will be available on the event website. The course will be marked with pink flags, arrow signs, and crosses on incorrect trails. Marshals in high-visibility vests will be at critical junctions. An aid station with a water fill-up point will be located at the turnaround on the long course. The event has a no-cup policy, so runners are advised to carry their own bottle or container.
Facilities at the Race Precinct
The start/finish area will have water and Trail Brew available to fill bottles. A coffee vendor will be present. After Sunday's race, a recovery station with fruit, Trail Brew nutrition, and water will be available. Toilets and hand sanitizing stations will be provided.
Other Information
Official event timing will use a timing band that must be returned after the race. First aid officers will be at the start/finish line. Participants are recommended to carry their own personal accident and injury insurance, as it is not provided by the organizer. Event winners and place-getters will receive prizes, followed by random prize draws for those present with their race bib. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
