RCDCU Bike to Fight Prostate Cancer 20th Anniversary Ride : Somerset, NJ
The event is a charitable bike-a-thon held at the Franklin Township Community Center in Somerset, New Jersey, on September 19, 2026. It is organized by Renaissance Cyclists Defeating Cancer United, Inc. The purpose is to raise awareness of prostate cancer and to support early detection, screening, education, and nutrition. Funds raised will be donated to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital RWJ Barnabas Health at Somerset and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Routes start and finish at the community center and follow local roads, parks, and canal corridors. Rest stops are fully stocked with water, energy bars, and fruit. Available route options:
- 3 Mile Fun Ride/Walk along a paved path to Quail Brook Park.
- 10 Mile Ride through residential areas and open space with a rest stop.
- 30 Mile Ride through Franklin Township into Colonial Park and along the canal.
- 50 Mile Ride continuing along the canal and Millstone River through historic sections.
