Rayleigh 10k

The Rayleigh 10k is a multi-terrain 10 km race organised by RTC Events with JBR Run & Tri Club, scheduled for 07 June 2026. The event starts and finishes at Gusted Hall Lane, Hockley, SS5 4JL (What3Words ///shapeless.deferring.surpassed).

The course is a scenic circular route using established pathways and bridleways through Hockley Woods and Grove Woods, returning via Gusted Hall Woods to the event hub. The race is fully chip timed and results will be available shortly after the event. Water stations are provided at approximately 5 km and at the finish. A medal is awarded to all finishers.

Entry is limited to 600 runners and the minimum age for participants is 16. Four trophies are awarded for category winners: first male 16-40, first female 16-35, first male veteran over 40, and first female veteran over 35. The listed entry fee is £24.

There is no parking at Gusted Hall. Car parking is provided at Clements Hall Leisure Centre, about one mile away, and access to the start area is by foot only; allow time to walk between parking and the start. Bag storage is available in a marquee near registration and any items are left at the owner’s risk. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Participants must confirm they are medically fit to take part and accept the event terms and conditions, including consent for event photography.
