Rancho Sahuarita Trails & Tails 5K

Trails & Tails 5K & 1 Mile Doggie Dash : Rancho Sahuarita

Rancho Sahuarita presents a fall community event at Sahuarita Lake Park on Saturday, November 14, 2026, featuring a 5K run and a 1 Mile Doggie Dash that benefit local animal rescues and adoption agencies in southern Arizona.

The event includes:

• 5K Run
• 1 Mile Doggie Dash around Sahuarita Lake, a relaxed family-friendly option for dogs and handlers

Proceeds support animal shelters and adoption agencies by providing supplies needed to care for dogs awaiting adoption. Course maps for both distances will be shared closer to race day. On event day, routes will be clearly marked and volunteers will be stationed along the course to assist participants. Parking instructions and additional logistical details will be provided before the event.

After the running events, a morning of family-focused activities follows, including inflatables, music, entertainment, a vendor zone, and a Doggie Best-Dressed Costume Contest. The race is organized by Rancho Sahuarita and powered by Run Tucson, with support from local sponsors and partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
