Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5K
The event takes place in Arvada, Colorado at 6542 Fig Street and offers winter road and 5K running options. The courses use a mix of road and bike path over rolling terrain. Half-marathon runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 45 minutes may use an optional early start.
Entry limits apply: the half marathon is limited to the first 650 registrations and the 5K is limited to the first 350 registrations. Registration for several entries opens on August 29, 2026; some entries have registration closing dates of September 15, 2026 while a youth 5K entry remains open through February 14, 2027.
Included with entry are race entry, free race photo downloads, event music, hot cocoa, and quesadillas. A finisher's medal is provided to half-marathon runners who complete the course. Shirt provisions differ by distance: long sleeve adult tech shirts are included with all half-marathon entries; 5K entries receive a short sleeve t-shirt or may upgrade to a long sleeve tech shirt for an additional five dollars.
This race is the final event in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series. The three-race series includes the Superior Stocking Run 5K on December 12, 2026 in Superior, the Yeti Chase 5K/10K on January 24, 2027 in Lakewood, and the Ralston Creek races on February 14, 2027 in Arvada.
