Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5k : event overview
The Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5k takes place on February 15, 2026 in Arvada, Colorado (6542 Fig Street, 80004). The courses use a mix of road and bike path over rolling terrain. The half-marathon offers an optional early start for runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 45 minutes to finish. Entry is limited by field size: the half-marathon is limited to the first 650 registrations and the 5K to the first 350 entries. This race is the final event in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series, following the Stocking Run 5K (December 13, 2025, Superior) and the Yeti Chase 5K/10K (January 25, 2026, Lakewood).

Race entry fees include race entry and several post-race items. Half-marathon finishers receive a finisher's medal. The event provides free race photo downloads, music, hot cocoa, and quesadillas. Long sleeve adult tech shirts are included with half-marathon entries. 5K entries include a short sleeve t-shirt or an upgrade to a long sleeve tech shirt for $5. Post-race activities are held at the nearby Colorado Tap House (near the 2 and 11 mile aid station on Ralston Creek trail, 14982 W. 69th Ave by car); showing a race bib on race day provides a $2 discount on a beverage.
