Rainbow Dash : event overview
Rainbow Dash is an annual community run held at Seneca Park Athletic Field in Louisville, Kentucky. The event includes a certified 5K and a separate "Wacky Races" program of playful team challenges. Proceeds benefit Louisville Youth Group’s year-round programs for LGBTQIA+ youth.
Course and activities
The certified 5K course is a loop through Seneca Park designed to be accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. The course has rest stops and clear course markers. The Wacky Races feature costume relays, obstacle segments, and interactive pit stops where teams can earn prizes for creativity, teamwork, and spirit.
Postponement and registration options
The organizer postponed the 2025 race and plans to hold Rainbow Dash in 2026; a specific 2026 date is to be determined. Registered participants were offered two options: convert their registration fee into a charitable donation and receive a tax receipt, or request a full refund.
