4th-Annual Raible Run to Remember
The 4th-Annual Raible Run to Remember is an organized running and rucking event in Pittsburgh, held at 1 Overlook Dr. The event is presented by Steel City NROTC to honor Lieutenant Colonel Raible and to promote community engagement, health, wellness, and patriotism.
Event options include an in person 5K run or walk, an in person ruck, and a virtual 5K run, walk, or ruck. Official timing is provided by a veteran-owned timing service, including fully automatic timing with RFID-equipped bibs, an LED leaderboard at the finish, and live results posted online.
Virtual participants receive a private Strava Club invite and will be mailed an official event t-shirt. Virtual times must be recorded between November 7 and November 9 to be considered for the virtual competition. The top male and female virtual participants will be recognized.
This edition introduces a new event t-shirt design, a new finisher medal, and an expanded lineup of food vendors. Participants who register before October 10 are guaranteed a shirt in their requested size; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a specific size.
New team competition allows participants to form and join teams; the team with the most registered members by race day will receive a $500 prize. ROTC and JROTC units may register collectively for $75 and receive a commemorative Raible 5K paddle, while individuals may still register separately for a shirt and finisher medal.
Registration includes an event t-shirt, access to the participant village, pre- and post-event snacks, games, raffles, prizes, and a ceremony to honor Lieutenant Colonel Raible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
