4th-Annual Raible Run to Remember
The Raible Run to Remember is an annual community event held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at Schenley Park. Organized by the Steel City NROTC, the gathering promotes community engagement, health, and patriotism while honoring the values of duty and bravery. The event offers several ways to participate over a 3.1 mile (5K) distance.
Available event categories include:
- In-Person 5K Run/Walk
- In-Person Ruck
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk/Ruck
Participants attending the in-person event at 1 Overlook Dr can access a participant village featuring games, raffles, and various prizes. The venue also hosts an expanded lineup of food vendors and provides pre- and post-race snacks. Following the athletic portion of the day, a ceremony is held to honor the history and mission of the event.
The race utilizes official timing services through RFID-equipped bibs, featuring an LED leaderboard at the finish line and live results. Those participating in the virtual category can record their times from any location between November 7th and November 9th using a private Strava Club.
Registration includes an event-specific t-shirt and a finisher medal. Individuals who register by October 10th are guaranteed a shirt in their preferred size. New for this year, participants can form teams during registration, with a prize awarded to the largest team. Specialized registration options are also available for ROTC and JROTC units.
