Event overview
The Wicked Wine Run takes place on October 31, 2026, at Hartwood Acres Park in Allison Park, Pittsburgh, PA. The event offers two course options:
- 1K tasting walk
- 5K run/walk
Both options include access to a festival with food trucks, music, games, and an after party. All participants and spectators must be 21 or older; age verification is required at packet pickup or on event day.
What participants receive
Ticketed participants receive event bibs and the new 2026 Wicked Wine Run event shirt. Specific inclusions by distance:
- 1K tickets include three 1 oz wine tastings along the course, a fourth tasting at the finish in a provided wine glass, and access to the after party.
- 5K tickets include a free finish-line wine glass of wine, a finisher medal for 2026, and access to the after party.
The event also lists race bags and goods, aid stations, sampling stations, finish-line wine, costume and dance contests, and additional wine available for purchase.
Logistics and additional information
Packet pickup details will be posted within two weeks of the event. A mailed packet delivery option is available for $20 and removes the need to attend packet pickup; this option is offered until two weeks before the event. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20. The 5K course will have two water stations along the route and an additional water station at the finish. A spectator tasting-only ticket is available for those who do not participate in the courses.
