Trail Soldier Hollow is a team-based overnight trail relay at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Wasatch Mountain State Park, Midway, Utah. The event spans two days and one night for most team formats and takes place at roughly 5,400 feet elevation. The course totals 120 miles with 28,880 feet of total elevation gain; each runner covers about 15 miles and roughly 3,610 feet of gain.
Team formats and published prices include a Standard Team of 8 runners for 2 days and 1 night at $1,645 total ($205 per runner), an Ultra Team of 4 runners for 2 days and 1 night at $950 total ($237 per runner), and a Sprint Team of 3 runners for 1 day at $400 total ($133 per runner).
The course follows smooth singletrack, rolling doubletrack, and a rugged ridgeline with daytime views of Heber Valley, Mount Timpanogos, and Deer Creek Reservoir, and nighttime views of the Wasatch sky. Ragnar Village at the Nordic Center serves as the event base with on-site camping options; glamping is sold out while a Rent-A-Tent option is available. On-site amenities include indoor restrooms, a cafe, food trucks, a gear store, bonfires with s'mores, movie night, yard games, and prize offerings.
