Trail Soldier Hollow
Trail Soldier Hollow takes place August 28-29, 2026 at the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Wasatch Mountain State Park, Midway, Utah. The event is listed as sold out. The venue sits near Heber Valley at approximately 5,400 feet and is an Olympic-caliber Nordic center.
The course uses a mix of smooth singletrack, rolling doubletrack, and a rugged ridgeline. Runners pass views of Heber Valley, Soldier Hollow Golf Course, Mount Timpanogos, and Deer Creek Reservoir. Course totals for the relay are 120 miles total and 15 miles per runner, with 28,880 feet total elevation gain and 3,610 feet gain per runner. Some trails are under construction and all loops are subject to change; final details will be set by early August.
Ragnar Village is located at the Nordic Center and provides camping and weekend programming. Glamping is sold out and Rent-A-Tent is available. Village features include bonfire and s'mores, music, yoga, prizes, movie night, yard games, and a gear store. Indoor restrooms are available at the Nordic Center. On-site food options include Basecamp Cafe offering coffee, local beer, and snacks, plus food trucks for meal times. Beer sales will be permitted.
Travel notes state Salt Lake City International Airport is about a one hour drive from the venue and Park City is about 30 minutes away.
