Radnor Girls Crew Club 5K Run
The Radnor Girls Crew Club 5K Run is a community athletic event held in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The race serves as a fundraiser for the Radnor Girls Crew Club (RGCC), supporting students at Radnor Senior High School who participate in rowing. Proceeds from the event contribute toward equipment costs, coaching fees, race entries, and facilities administration, as well as providing financial aid and scholarship opportunities for student athletes.
The event utilizes Radnor Senior High School as the central hub for participants. The 5 km course follows a pre-established route designed to avoid road crossings or closures, minimizing the impact on the local township and traffic. Professional timing services are provided by the Bryn Mawr Racing Company. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers by gender, as well as to the top three finishers within various age groups.
