Elves for the Shelves 5K, Walk, and Fun Run : Wayne, PA
The event takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Radnor Memorial Library (114 West Wayne Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087). It is the 12th annual running of the 5K and includes multiple in-person and virtual options. Proceeds support Radnor Memorial Library; funds are used for programs, collections, space, and other library resources.

5K Race
- Timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Company. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall and 1st–3rd in each age group. Age groups: 6 & under; 7-9; 10-12; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.

Walk - 2.3 miles
- Starts and finishes at the library. Route follows West Wayne Ave., crosses Conestoga Rd., turns left on Atlee Rd., goes through the Wayne neighborhood, and returns to the library. Stroller and wheelchair accessible. Kids 12 and under receive a medal.

Fun Run/Walk - 0.5 mile
- Half mile course, stroller and wheelchair accessible. All children 12 and under receive a finish medal. Santa will be in attendance.

Virtual Runner or Walker
- Participants may run or walk remotely and log distance and time on race day.
Additional notes: packet pick up is Friday, December 5 (Winsor Room, lower level) or on race morning. Entry fees vary by event; registering by Nov. 9 guarantees a t-shirt.
