Rachael's Memorial Run
This memorial 5K run and walk takes place in Auburn, Massachusetts on November 22, 2026. The event is organized in memory of a daughter who battled AML, a form of aggressive leukemia, and aims to support causes important to her.
Proceeds will fund a Speech and Language scholarship to be awarded to one student for the four years he or she is enrolled in the Speech and Language program at Worcester State University. The event will also provide funds to Auburn Youth and Family Services for use at the organization’s discretion to support children and families.
The course begins in the Auburn Elks parking lot and follows Route 12 to Warren Avenue, then to Bryn Mawr Avenue. Participants turn around just past Leicester Street and return to the Auburn Elks parking lot for a total distance of 5K (3.1 miles).
Registration fee tiers are:
- September 21 to September 27 : $25
- September 28 to October 13 : $30
- October 14 to November 20 : $35
- Race day registration : $40
All entry fees are non refundable. Early bib and T shirt pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at Sneakerama in Worcester. Race shirts are available to the first 200 registrants with sizes distributed on a first come, first served basis. Parking is available at the Elks and nearby lots. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers in both male and female categories. There will also be prize raffles and a 50/50 raffle.
