Rachael's Memorial Run
This event is organized in memory of the organizers' daughter, who battled AML, and aims to raise awareness for speech and language through a scholarship and to support Auburn Youth and Family Services with funds for children and families.
The event features a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) held in Auburn, Massachusetts, with the course starting and finishing at the Auburn Elks parking lot. Participants follow Route 12, turn onto Warren Avenue and Bryn Mawr Avenue, continue past Leicester Street to a turnaround point, and return to the Auburn Elks for the full distance.
Registration uses tiered fees that increase over time, and all entry fees are non-refundable. Early bib and T-shirt pickup is offered at Sneakerama in Worcester; race shirts are limited to the first 200 registrants and sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Same-day registration and bib pickup are available at the Auburn Elks.
Parking is available at the Elks and additional nearby lots. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers in both male and female categories. The event will include prize raffles and a 50/50 raffle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
