Race Information
The Race to the Taste is a 5K event for runners and walkers. The course goes through Anastasia State Park and nearby neighborhoods. The start and finish location is the St. Augustine Amphitheater.
Event Details
The event is chip-timed by Hasselmania Productions and uses a certified course described as an "out and back" route. The event has a rock and roll theme, and participants are encouraged to dress accordingly. Strollers are permitted. Entry fees vary, with a base price of $30 and discounts for youth participants (ages 7-15: $15; ages 6 and under: $5).
All proceeds from the race go to EPIC Behavioral Healthcare.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, and to the top three in numerous age categories, from 9 and under up to 75 and above.
Post-Race
Registration includes free admission for the participant to a concurrent "Taste of St. Augustine" festival, which features live music and food samples from over 25 local restaurants. Participants also receive a half-price admission coupon for a guest.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on Friday before the race at EPIC Behavioral Healthcare on Old Dixie Highway in St. Augustine, and on race day at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
